Kirk Herbstreit has shared his list of top-performing teams for Week 13.
Herbstreit’s list includes one SEC program — Kentucky. The Wildcats pulled off a big road upset over Louisville on Saturday, giving them their 5th straight victory over their in-state rivals.
Michigan, NC State, Oregon, Iowa State, Florida State and Oklahoma State were the other programs who made the cut this week.

Kentucky’s victory was a big one for the program. The Wildcats needed that win to get to 7-5 on the season and avoid a 3-game losing streak to close out the year. Kentucky quarterback Devin Leary threw for 3 touchdowns in the win over the Cardinals. Ray Davis rushed for 76 yards and scored the game-winning touchdown in the 4th quarter.
The win also spoils any chance of Louisville reaching the College Football Playoff this season. The Cardinals were 10-1 entering the Week 13 contest and are set to face No. 5 Florida State in the ACC Championship Game on Saturday.
Kentucky will receive its bowl destination on Sunday after the final CFP rankings have been revealed.
