The Georgia Bulldogs walked out of Tuscaloosa with a 20-17 win over the Alabama Crimson Tide on Saturday night. Kirby Smart’s team benefited from a pass interference penalty that was picked up and a personal foul penalty that allowed the Bulldogs to kneel out the clock.

Kirk Herbstreit, alongside Chris Fowler, was on hand for the entertaining affair. On Sunday afternoon, he released broadcast camera footage of his and Fowler’s reactions to all that unfolded as the game clock wound down.

“Such a crazy sequence in the final minutes that played a huge role in deciding a hard-fought game between two outstanding teams,” Herbstreit wrote. “What a battle… it always comes down to the few big plays at the end when these to teams face off!”

Fowler and Herbstreit’s commentary in the clips focused on Alabama head coach Kalen DeBoer’s visceral reactions to the picked-up flag and defensive back Dijon Lee’s personal foul penalty.

“How often do you see [DeBoer] get frustrated?” Herbstreit said during the game. “Hardly ever [shows] that kind of emotion.”

“He’s lost his cool more, I think, in the last 10 minutes than we’ve ever seen [him],” Fowler said. “And I don’t blame him.”

DeBoer and the Crimson Tide battle the Tennessee Volunteers in Week 7.
