Kirk Herbstreit’s dog poops on College GameDay; chaos ensues as Ohio State student drills kick

So much just happened on College GameDay.
In what originally seemed like a bad omen, Kirk Herbstreit’s dog, Peter, picked an unfortunate time to do his business; right before an Ohio State student, Logan, attempted a $250,000 field goal live on national television.
No pressure, right? Well, the kid was unfazed and absolutely drilled the ensuing field goal, held by Herbstreit himself. It would have been good from 45. Keep in mind, all of this happened in a span of about a minute and a half. Take a look at the chaotic scene below:
Originally, the kick was set to be worth $100,000 – the same number it is every week on College GameDay. Often the student misses horribly, which prompts Pat McAfee to bully the kid relentlessly for assuming that kicking field goals is easy. Not this time, though. That kick never had a chance of missing the middle of the uprights.
College GameDay is currently on location for No. 1 Texas against No. 3 Ohio State from Columbus, Ohio. The Longhorns and Arch Manning face off against Julian Sayin and the defending national champions – but there’s a bit of uncertainty what each team is going to look like when rubber hits the road.
While we’re on the topic of omens, maybe Logan’s kick is a good one for the Buckeyes today.
