Following a 59-0 win over Vanderbilt on Saturday, Alabama laid to rest any doubts that it was not the No. 1 team in the country.

Meanwhile Clemson and Oklahoma took care of business to maintain their elite rankings, too.

However, with Oklahoma State losing and Penn State and USC turning in lackluster performances, ESPN analyst Kirk Herbstreit has a surprising team at No. 4 in his new rankings.

As you can see, he slid TCU — the team that beat Oklahoma State in Stillwater — into the College Football Playoff:

We’ll have to see what the AP voters think later on Sunday afternoon, but it’s safe to say the Horned Frogs will get a significant boost after their big win.

However, with USC and Penn State both still undefeated, it wouldn’t be surprising to see either of them jump back into the CFP mix should any of the top four teams struggle.
