Knox Kiffin is a class of 2028 quarterback prospect and the son of Ole Miss head coach Lane Kiffin. After spending his freshman high school season in California, Knox is transferring to a Mississippi high school for 2025 and beyond.

According to a report from 247 Sports, Knox Kiffin is transferring to Oxford High School and will join the football program there in early June. Kiffin spent the 2024 season with Palos Verdes High School in California.

Lane has since reacted to the news on social media, with Knox set to play ball close to Ole Miss:

“LFG. The band is all back together,” wrote Lane on social media with a house emoji.

Entering his sophomore season, Knox is listed at 6-foot-2 and 170 pounds. The full prospect ratings for the 2028 recruiting class are not even out yet, but Knox has already generated a solid offer list thus far.

Since the start of 2025, Knox has added offers from Western Kentucky, Sacramento State, Murray State, Georgia State and FIU. He also holds offers from Arkansas State and SMU, so it’s likely he will begin to burst further on the scene as his high school career unfolds.

For now, fans can look forward to Knox being in SEC country as he moves forward.
