Lane Kiffin and his LSU Tigers were the talk of college football the last couple of weeks, drawing the ire of fans concerning the eligibility and possibility of players coming back from the NFL to play for LSU.

However, after the 51-10 victory over Clemson in Week 1, it was LSU’s performance that had everyone in the country talking. On Monday, a video was leaked showing Kiffin hyping up his team at halftime, reminding the Tigers that they aren’t the most beloved team in college football right now and to keep putting on steam against Clemson.

The following video contains considerable profanity:

Kiffin didn’t come to LSU to win regular-season games, but the game against Clemson is the start of what LSU fans hope is an incredible season. Last year, those two teams played and LSU won that game as well. However, it didn’t translate to a big season, and it is why Kiffin is the coach at LSU.

The emotion in that video shows he knows what the expectations are at LSU. It is truly national championship or bust for Kiffin, and LSU is becoming the potential villain in college football. The Tigers have one final tune-up next week against Louisiana Tech, and then a road trip to Ole Miss is looming in two weeks. As passionate as he was in that video at the half, it will be another level in two weeks in Oxford.
