There is seemingly nobody that knows where Lane Kiffin will be coaching in 2026 (not even Kiffin himself). This has the Ole Miss Rebels’ fanbase dealing with immense angst ahead of the Egg Bowl. Fortunately, SEC Shorts is here to help make light of the situation.

In this week’s episode of SEC Shorts, Ole Miss is panicking about what’s to come with Kiffin. They sound the alarm, leading to a group powwow with all of Kiffin’s former teams: USC, the Raiders, Florida Atlantic, Alabama and — with a dramatic entry of its own, of course — Tennessee.

After the other squads see athletic director Keith Carter’s comments about Kiffin’s upcoming decision, they tell the Rebels to prepare for Kiffin’s departure. Ole Miss is in denial, saying Oxford “is not just some school you jump from to a better job.” On cue, a delivery man shows up with a pine box — a nod to Tommy Tuberville leaving for Auburn nearly 3 decades ago.

The teams then proceed to analyze LSU’s “dating profile” and help Ole Miss clean out Kiffin’s things. Eventually, they reflect on the good old days they shared with the enigmatic head coach. You can watch the full episode below:
