Lee Corso says one-loss Alabama, Georgia teams would get into CFP over other one-loss teams

The SEC has a clear top-two teams this year, with No. 1 Alabama and No. 3 Georgia both sitting at 7-0 heading into Week 8 action.
Should those two squads continue dominating, both will have legitimate cases for inclusion in the College Football Playoff.
However, should the two teams reach the SEC Championship Game undefeated, one will have to lose. Still, College GameDay analyst Lee Corso thinks we could see two SEC squads in the CFP, and explained that a one-loss Alabama or Georgia team would get in over any other one-loss team in the country (via 247Sports):
“If Alabama and Georgia are both undefeated and play in the SEC title game, the loser will get in over any one-loss team in the nation,” he said. “I guarantee it. I wouldn’t be surprised if Alabama was No. 1 and Georgia was No. 2.”
Corso even thinks a one-loss SEC non-champion would get in over one-loss conference champs if the situation arises.
That may not actually happen at the end of the year, but one thing is for sure — the Bulldogs and Crimson Tide certainly look like two of the four best teams in the country right now.
