Kentucky defensive end Lloyd Tubman has been suspended from the team indefinitely following an allegation of a sexual assault on campus, team spokesman Tony Neely confirmed to the Herald-Leader on Tuesday. The 6-foot-5, 225-poundย freshmanย was accused in the incident on Thursday of sexually assaulting a female student at 11:45 a.m. in a residence hall.

According to the Lexington-Fayette County Detention Center’s official website, Tubman was booked on Oct. 7, 2014.

โ€œObviously, Iโ€™m very concerned about the allegations and all parties involved,โ€ Coach Mark Stoops said in a release. โ€œWeโ€™re working extremely hard to develop quality young men on and off the field. We will continue to cooperate with the local and campus authorities while the process takes its course.โ€
