LOOK: Danny Kanell lower on LSU, Georgia than most in his updated top 8 rankings

Even noted SEC troll Danny Kanell has to admit that Alabama is No. 1 after what the Tide have accomplished so far this season, and to his credit, he has had them in the top spot for most of the year.

However, when it comes to other SEC squads, the former Florida State quarterback and current broadcaster and analyst is lower on them than most.

As you can see in his updated top-eight rankings, Kanell doesn’t have LSU in the top four and only has Georgia at No. 8:

Most have LSU at either No. 2 or No. 3 entering Tuesday’s first College Football Playoff rankings, and Georgia has been up around No. 6 for most other analysts.

However, Alabama and LSU play next weekend, and Georgia can take another big step forward if it wins at Kentucky next weekend, so we’ll see how Kanell ranks the three SEC squads moving forward.
