When Oklahoma is involved, the game’s not over until the clock hits all zeros. That’s what ESPN is reminding college sports fans after the Sooners first-round exit from the NCAA Tournament.

On Thursday, it was No. 7-seed Rhode Island that managed to come back in the final minute to top the No. 10-seed Sooners 83-78. UGA fans, meanwhile, were happily reminded of the Bulldogs’ 54-48 Rose Bowl victory despite Oklahoma’s lead in the final minute of the fourth quarter.

While few would equate the first round of the Big Dance with the final four of the College Football Playoff, it is certainly true that Oklahoma fans have had their hearts broken in the postseasons of the two biggest college sports over the span of just a few weeks.
