The Auburn Tigers saw their magical Final Four run come to an end in heartbreaking fashion on Saturday, watching as a foul was committed on Virginia sharpshooter Kyle Guy in the closing seconds to give the Cavaliers the victory.

Now, Lee County DA Brandon Hughes is doing what he can to help ease the pain.

As you can see below, Hughes posted a photo of a blind referee to the Lee County District Attorney’s Office’s Facebook page on Tuesday, calling on the Hennepin County (where Minneapolis is located) DA to investigate the crime committed against his Tigers:

Obviously, Hughes is just joking, but the pain for Auburn fans is very real, as it was a devastating way to lose.

Still, the Tigers have built something special under Bruce Pearl, and it’ll be interesting to see where things go in 2019-20 and beyond.
