The Arizona Cardinals made a curious decision on Wednesday, deciding to cut former LSU star DB Tyrann Mathieu, who has become one of the biggest stars at the safety position.

Now, though, there are a bunch of NFL players reaching out to the Honey Badger to try to recruit him to join their teams.

As you can see in the selection of tweets below, players from JJ Watt to Ike Taylor have reached out to Mathieu with encouraging words in the wake of Wednesday’s news:

Los Angeles Chargers DE Melvin Ingram:

Carolina Panthers LB Shaq Thompson:

Pittsburgh Steelers DB Ike Taylor:

New York Jets LB Darron Lee:

That’s just the start, too. As free agency continues, other players are sure to reach out to the talented defender to try to convince him to sign with their teams.
