LOOK: Top unsigned Mississippi State commit doesn’t seem to be a big fan of Brian Baker leaving for Alabama

On Sunday morning, it was reported that Mississippi State DL coach Brian Baker was leaving to take a position on Alabama’s coaching staff.
That’s bad news for the Bulldogs when it comes to their 2019 recruiting class, as 4-star DT Nathan Pickering — the Bulldogs’ top remaining unsigned commit — probably won’t be a huge fan of the staff turnover.
As you can see below, Pickering took to Twitter on Sunday to make it clear that he saw the news about Baker:

Fortunately for Mississippi State fans, Pickering also said he’s still firm in his commitment to the Bulldogs:

Pickering recently took a visit to Alabama, but it’s unclear if the Baker news will help or hurt the Crimson Tide in their pursuit of the Mississippi State commit.
Per the 247Sports composite, Pickering is the No. 6 defensive tackle in the class of 2019 and the No. 5 overall recruit from the state of Mississippi.
