A pair of SEC schools remain in the hunt for one of the top quarterback prospects in the 2026 class.
On Saturday, Celina (Texas) High passer Bowe Bentley revealed that he is down to just 2 schools in his recruitment. He’s considering Oklahoma and LSU.
A 6-foot-2 passer, Bentley is a 4-star recruit in the industry-generated 247 Composite. He’s the ninth-ranked quarterback in the class and the 13th-ranked recruit from the state of Texas. Overall, he sits at No. 95 in the national player rankings.
As a junior last fall, he led Celina to a 16-0 record and a Texas 4A D-I state championship. He totaled more than 4,200 yards of offense and 63 touchdowns.
Bentley is scheduled to take an official visit to Oklahoma on June 13. He’ll visit LSU the following weekend. He also has a previously scheduled OV to Georgia the weekend before he arrives in Norman. It’s not immediately clear if that visit will still take place.
