LSU had a strong Monday on the recruiting trail, specifically along the offensive line. The Tigers added a pair of commitments to their 2027 class, including 4-star prospect Terrance Smith and 3-star Cal flip Amaziah Siale.

Let’s start with the 4-star prospect, Smith, who chose the Tigers over the likes of Tennessee, Auburn and Rutgers, Smith hails from Lansdale Catholic HS in Pennsylvania. He stands at 6-foot-7, 290 pounds and best projects as an interior lineman at the next level. Notably, Smith missed most of the 2025 season while recovering from offseason ACL surgery.

According to 247Sports’ composite rankings, Smith is considered to be the No. 129 overall prospect in the country, as well as the No. 14 OL and No. 7 player out of Pennsylvania.

Smith and Siale are the first and second offensive line commits of LSU’s 2027 cycle thus far. Siale was the first to commit to LSU on Monday, flipping his commitment from Cal to LSU. He had been committed to the Golden Bears since June 2 and flipped his commitment following an official visit to Baton Rouge on Friday.

Siale comes in as the No. 610 overall prospect in the Class of 2027, as well as the No. 54 OL and No. 46 prospect out of California.
