LSU defensive lineman Tygee Hill is moving on from Baton Rouge as of Tuesday.
Hill is planning on entering the portal with 3 years of eligibility left. He redshirted for the Tigers last season after playing in 3 games as a backup on the defensive line. Hill saw the field in 6 games this year.
However, there was little playing time for Hill to have on the defensive line. LSU had players like Bradyn Swinson, Ovie Oghoufo, Saivion Jones, Mehki Wingo, and others all competing for reps ahead of Hill at LSU.
Officially in the transfer portal with 3 years of eligibility left!

The Tigers have verbal commits from 2 defensive linemen in the 2024 class. Shone Washington and De’Myrion Johnson are currently verbally committed to Brian Kelly as 3-star DLs.
Hill is a native of Louisiana, coming from New Orleans out of Edna Karr. He was a former 3-star DL in the 2022 class. Alabama, LSU, Florida, Kentucky, Ole Miss, Mississippi State, and Tennessee were the SEC programs that showed interest in him out of high school.
