LSU’s Jordan Seaton signed record-breaking deal this offseason, per report
LSU spent big money on new offensive tackle Jordan Seaton this offseason.
According to a new report from CBS Sports’ Chris Hummer, Seaton is believed to have signed with the Tigers for a package worth more than $4 million. The report also says that would make Seaton the highest-paid offensive lineman in college football history.
Seaton spent the past 2 seasons at Colorado after signing to play for Deion Sanders out of high school. Seaton was a 5-star prospect entering college and was ranked as the No. 1 offensive tackle in the nation for the class of 2024, per 247Sports Composite rankings.

Seaton was excellent for the Buffs in 2025, particularly as a pass blocker. He earned an 84.1 pass-blocking grade from Pro Football Focus โ the best mark among any Big 12 offensive tackle with at least 500 snaps played in 2025.
In addition to that proven production, Seaton has an NFL-ready frame at 6-foot-5, 307 pounds. He’s expected to be a potential high draft selection whenever he enters the NFL Draft.
Seaton arrives at LSU with 22 career starts and multiple years of eligibility remaining. The Tigers will open the 2026 season against Clemson on Sept. 5.
