Mac Jones goes in Round 1 of PFF’s latest 2021 mock draft; 12 total SEC players taken

The 2021 NFL Draft is quickly approaching. The April event will be here before we know it, but first, top prospects will have a chance to show their skills at Pro Days around the country.
On Monday, Pro Football Focus’s Seth Galina put together his updated Round 1 mock draft, and he included a dozen SEC stars.
As you can see below, he has 5 SEC guys going in the top 10 picks, including Alabama QB Mac Jones at No. 6 overall:
- No. 3 — Ja’Marr Chase, WR, LSU — Miami Dolphins
- No. 4 — Kyle Pitts, TE, Florida — Atlanta Falcons
- No. 6 — Mac Jones, QB, Alabama — Philadelphia Eagles
- No. 7 — DeVonta Smith, WR, Alabama — Detroit Lions
- No. 10 — Patrick Surtain II, CB, Alabama — Dallas Cowboys
- No. 16 — Christian Barmore, DL, Alabama — Arizona Cardinals
- No. 20 — Jaylen Waddle, WR, Alabama — Chicago Bears
- No. 21 — Azeez Ojulari, LB, Georgia — Indianapolis Colts
- No. 25 — Kadarius Toney, WR, Florida — Jacksonville Jaguars
- No. 27 — Terrace Marshall Jr., WR, LSU — Baltimore Ravens
- No. 28 — Jaycee Horn, CB, South Carolina — New Orleans Saints
- No. 29 — Nick Bolton, LB, Mizzou — Green Bay Packers
