Mac Jones showed off his accuracy in the NFL’s Pro Bowl Skills competition on Thursday night as he excelled in the “Thread the Needle” competition.

Jones hit 12 balls in a series of holes against a wall to knock off the NFC during the event which aired on ESPN.

The New England Patriots quarterback made the Pro Bowl after other AFC QBs chose not to play, or were injured. Kansas City Chiefs QB Patrick Mahomes, Los Angeles Chargers QB Justin Herbert, and Baltimore Ravens QB Lamar Jackson were the original selections for the team. Jackson suffered an ankle injury down the stretch and Josh Allen of the Buffalo Bills said last week that he would not go to the game as an alternate. Bengals quarterback Joe Burrow would have been another replacement choice, but he’s heading to the Super Bowl after Sunday’s win.

Jones threw 22 touchdowns to 13 interceptions while he completed 67.6 percent of his passes for 3,801 passing yards, as he was a key piece in helping Bill Belichick reset a large chunk of the roster with a collection of talented free agents and rookies that contributed right away.
