Georgia standout Malcolm Mitchell suffers another knee injury

Talented UGA receiver Malcolm Mitchell has had a tough time staying healthy throughout his career.
Mitchell, who missed all of last season with a torn ACL suffered while celebrating a Todd Gurley touchdown against Clemson, is injured again. And it’s his knee again.
The school confirmed that Mitchell injured his right knee earlier this week and had it scoped Thursday “to address a cartilage injury”, and his timetable for return is unknown at this point. He’ll at least miss the opening of fall camp.
Mitchell hurt his leg this spring during the Bulldogs’ practice, but he was expected to be a go for fall camp before his latest injury.
Georgia’s X-factor could be Mitchell, but he’s had trouble staying healthy long enough to find out. Georgia’s team suffered several injuries during the 2013 season, and hopefully Mitchell can return for game one against Clemson. He’s such an explosive weapon in an explosive offense.
