Marcus Harris, Auburn’s elite, All-SEC defensive lineman, has revealed his plans for the 2024 season.

The Tigers’ star lineman took to social media to reveal that he will be entering the 2024 NFL Draft.

Harris released a statement thanking God, his family and friends, and all of the Auburn staff that he interacted with during his time with the Tigers.

“With that being said, I have decided to forego my last year of eligibility and declare for the 2024 NFL Draft,” Harris declared.

The defensive lineman led the Tigers with 7 sacks in 2023. Harris also added 40 total tackles, 1 forced fumble and 1 fumble recovery. Harris spent 3 seasons with the Tigers after spending his first 2 seasons with the Kansas Jayhawks. The d-lineman played sparingly for the Jayhawks, and stepped into a large role with the Tigers.

Harris is the 4th Auburn defender to declare for the 2024 NFL Draft thus far. The lineman joins cornerbacks DJ James and Nehemiah Pritchett and safety Jaylin Simpson. Harris could have returned for 1 more season but will test his luck in the draft.

Harris racked up 97 tackles and 11 sacks during his Auburn career. Harris earned first-team All-SEC honors from the Associated Press for his performance in 2023.
