Marcus Satterfield faces criticism, boos amid woeful effort by South Carolina offense

Marcus Satterfield again faced a chorus of boos and criticism from South Carolina fans as the Gamecocks’ offense sputtered against Missouri.
By midway through the fourth quarter, the Gamecocks struggled to find much rhythm on offense and couldn’t get within 2 scores of the Tigers. Their drives for the game ended this way: Punt-punt-punt-touchdown-punt-fumble-field goal-punt-punt-interception. The Gamecocks were also 4-for-12 on third down conversions.
They mustered just 32 rushing yards and 13 first downs as Missouri prevailed 23-10.
All that led to many fans calling for his job, which has been an ongoing theme since last season.
Here’s a sample of the latest reaction:
No matter what happens the rest of this season, he’s done. This program will be handcuffed offensively until a change is made. https://t.co/BdqkpZyQAd

South Carolina will not truly be successful until Shane Beamer fires Marcus Satterfield.

Yes Satterfield just called another screen pass on 3rd and 18 on a crucial 4th quarter drive. Can’t make this shit up. Please fire him @CoachSBeamer

If Satterfield is back next week he’ll be back next season. We aren’t gonna see anything better the rest of the season than we’ve seen these first 8 games. There’s no reason whatsoever not to get rid of him now.,
