Walker is coming off of a strong freshman season for the Wildcats. In 2022, he recorded 40 tackles, 4.5 tackles for loss and 1 sack. If he’s able to take another step forward this season, it would be a big deal for Kentucky’s defensive front.
Walker was an elite prospect out of high school. He was a 4-star talent and the No. 36 defensive lineman in the country for the class of 2024, per 247Sports Composite rankings.
Kentucky ranked dead last in the SEC in 2022 with just 54 tackles for loss. The Wildcats will be hoping to take a big step forward in that area in 2023.
