MarShawn Lloyd has been one of the keys to South Carolina’s 4-game winning streak. Now, he has signed an NIL deal to benefit from an off-field partnership. According to 247Sports, Lloyd has inked a deal with Clean Energy, a smoothie brand that makes plant-based products.
The deal was facilitated by Park Ave, a collective that partners with the University of South Carolina to facilitate NIL opportunities with Gamecock student-athletes.
“Clean Energy was a natural partner for MarShawn because of his dedication to fueling his body properly, which is what the brand is all about,” said Park Ave’s Chaise Belt.
According to the Clean Energy website, “Clean Energy is a nutritious smoothie, a natural boost of energy for anywhere, including on-the-go without the mess or clean up of mixing or blending a smoothie”. The product is sold in individual packages.
Lloyd currently has 93 carries for 526 yards and 9 touchdowns, plus 17 catches for 173 yards and 2 scores. The Gamecocks look to make it 5 straight as they host Missouri at Williams-Brice Stadium on Saturday.
