The Hawaii Bowl ended in dramatics on Wednesday night, but the fireworks didn’t stop when the clocks hit zero.

The Golden Bears lead for most of the game, but Hawaii scored 22 points in the 4th quarter to score the win. Cal took a late lead, leaving the Rainbow Warriors just 1 minute and 52 seconds to score. Backup quarterback Luke Weaver ended up scoring the game-winning touchdown with just 11 seconds remaining.

That’s when the mayhem really began, though. The two sides were soon in a massive altercation, which had a few different instances of punches thrown and helmets tossed. The fight began almost immediately after Cal’s last-ditched effort.

A second fight started soon after the video above, which appears to have been started by No. 68 of Cal, who can be seen punching a Hawaii player who was without a helmet. This caused Hawaii to retaliate, and it soon spiraled out of control.

Nothing says Merry Christmas like a postgame brawl, right?

Hawaii finished its season 9-4 after Wednesday night’s Hawaii Bowl win. The Rainbow Warriors are going to be a real contender for the College Football Playoff next season with standout QB Micah Alejado set to return.
