Miami fans had a really rough Friday night at Hard Rock Stadium, watching their 2nd-ranked Hurricanes fall to Louisville, 24-21, in a national TV game on ESPN that knocked their beloved team from the ranks of the unbeaten.

The Canes fell into a 14-0 hole in the first quarter and could never quite dug out of that hole, getting within 14-10 at halftime, 17-13 after 3 quarters and then scoring a touchdown with a 2-point conversion midway through the 4th quarter to climb within 24-21. Miami actually had a shot to tie it or potentially win it late in the game, but Carson Beck threw a terrible interception that put the final dagger in the comeback attempt.

Miami fell to 5-1, and then some of its already suffering fans suffered a little more in 1 of the stadium concourses. Things seemed pretty innocent at first as despondent Hurricanes fans were walking by each other into the South Florida night. Then suddenly, it got really ugly as a group of fans started beating on one another, with 1 particular fan getting the worst of the punishment.

Here is the ugly video to cap an ugly night for Miami football as a whole:

While Miami fans took out their frustrations on each other after the Week 8 loss, their team will have a chance to do that on the field in Week 9 with another primetime home game against Stanford next Saturday night. Kickoff will be at 7 p.m. ET on ESPN.
