Mikahi Allen, blue-chip 2027 LB, sets all-SEC final 3 ahead of commitment

Mikahi Allen is set on taking his talents to the SEC.

The standout linebacker from New Jersey is ready to make his commitment. On Saturday, he’ll decide between Texas, Texas A&M and South Carolina.

Out of Ramsey (New Jersey) Don Bosco Prep, Allen is listed as measuring 6-1 and 220 pounds. On the 247Sports Composite, Allen is rated 4-stars, the No. 5 player in New Jersey, No. 15 linebacker and No. 204 prospect overall in the Class of 2027.

Though it’s coming down to 3 SEC teams, Allen drew interest from programs in all the major conferences.

Allen’s 3 finalists were also in his top 8 from April. At that time, he was also considering Tennessee, Illinois, Florida State, Syracuse and Rutgers. He set spring practice visits with 5 of those 8 schools, as well as Miami.
