Oklahoma State hasn’t won the Big 12 since 2011 and is off to a 1-2 start this season. However, long-time head coach Mike Gundy isn’t worried about his future.

The 58-year-old Gundy has been Oklahoma State’s head coach since 2005, and prior to that he was an assistant and played for the program. Gundy is taking it 1 day at a time as he tries to turn the Cowboys around.

“I’m under contract here for about three and a half years,” Gundy said Monday, per FootballScoop. “When I was hired here to take this job, ever since that day I’ve put my heart and soul into this and I will continue to do that until at some point if I say I don’t want to do it, or if somebody else says, ‘We don’t want you to do it.'”

Oklahoma State began the season with a 27-7 victory vs. UT Martin. Since then, they’ve lost 69-3 at then-No. 6 Oregon and 19-12 vs. Tulsa.

Next up for Oklahoma State is a home matchup vs. 2-2 Baylor on Saturday. Oklahoma State leads the all-time series 23-20 vs. Baylor. However, Baylor won last season’s meeting 38-28 in Waco.

Baylor at Oklahoma State is slated for a 3:30 p.m. ET kickoff (ESPN2).
