Mississippi State, which lifted Dak Prescott and Josh Robinson from Louisiana in recent years, added a fourth 2016 commitment from the neighboring state on Saturday.

Three-star athlete Cameron Dantzler, who picked up an offer from the Bulldogs last week, announced his decision to play college football for the Bulldogs after returning to the campus Saturday.

The Bulldogs’ roster is loaded with players listed as “athlete,” and the 6-foot-2, 170-pound combo receiver/cornerback should add to that list in ’16. Of Mississippi State’s four current commitments from Louisiana, three play cornerback, including C.J. Morgan-Walker and Dontrel Allen.

Mississippi State also holds a commitment from JUCO cornerback Lashard Durr.

Dantzler also won a Louisiana track-and-field state championship in the long jump last month. He represents the Bulldogs’ 11th verbal commitment of the 2016 class.
