Mississippi State made an intriguing offer in the class of 2024 on Friday afternoon.
The Bulldogs have extended an offer to 2024 linebacker Tristan Jernigan, who is a Mississippi native. He attends Tupelo High School in Tupelo, Miss.

Jernigan currently doesn’t have a 247Sports Composite ranking, but that’s expected to change in the coming weeks. His recruitment has been gaining momentum recently as he’s also picked up offers from Florida State and Ole Miss since late January.
He’s listed at 6-foot-2, 220 pounds. Ole Miss was the 1st Power 5 program to offer him a scholarship back on Jan. 29. He also has received offers from programs like Memphis and Arkansas State.
Mississippi State does not currently have any commitments in the class of 2024.
