Mississippi State reveals uniform combo for homecoming game against Texas

Mississippi State will match up with No. 22 Texas this Saturday, and ahead of their game, the Bulldogs have revealed their homecoming look.
MSU will be wearing maroon jerseys, white pants, and maroon helmets; however, its a special Mississippi State logo on the side of the helmet. The interlocking logo on these helmets was the Mississippi State logo from 1986 to 1995, before it was replaced with the logo we recognize now.

This will be a huge opportunity for Mississippi State to earn its first SEC conference win of the season.
Mississippi State is coming off a 2-point loss to the Florida Gators. Quarterback Blake Shapen threw for over 300 yards, but he was unable to crack the end zone and threw 1 interception. All 3 touchdowns came on the ground. Two were scored by running back Davon Booth, and 1 was scored by Kamario Taylor.
Texas is coming off an overtime win over Kentucky in which the offense struggled. Quarterback Arch Manning completed 12 of his 27 passing attempts for 132 yards and 0 touchdowns. Even the ground game struggled, as running back Quintrevion Wisner only totaled 37 yards.
Kickoff on Saturday is set for 4:15 p.m. ET.
