Missouri football added a third commitment to its 2027 class on Monday afternoon with a pledge from Cincinnati-based offensive tackle Lual Aleu. The Tigers landed a commitment from Aleu over the likes of Florida, Nebraska and Louisville. Other teams to offer Aleu include Cincinnati, Florida, Vanderbilt and North Carolina.
Aleu stands at 6-foot-5, 295 pounds and plays for Winton Woods high school, where he saw time as both a guard and tackle. According to 247Sports, Aleu is the No. 621 overall prospect in the Class of 2027 and the No. 27 player out of Ohio. Finally, Alue is considered to be the No. 57 offensive tackle in the 2027 class.
Now, he’s heading to Mizzou.
As mentioned above, Alue is Missouri’s 3rd commitment of the 2027 cycle, the 2nd offensive player and first along either line. Aleu joins 3-star QB Braylen Warren and 3-star safety Jabarri Lofton. Aleu and Lofton committed to Missouri within 3 days of each other.
As it currently stands, Missouri has the 35th rated class in 2027, which ranks 10th in the SEC ahead of Arkansas, Kentucky, Florida, Vanderbilt, Auburn and South Carolina.
