Head coach Eli Drinkwitz has Missouri Tigers football fans bringing big aspirations into the 2025 campaign. That excitement has led the fanbase to show its support in a major way.

On Monday afternoon, the Tigers announced they had sold out their season tickets. It’s the second consecutive year Mizzou has accomplished this feat.

This is a tremendous signal of the excitement and energy surrounding Mizzou Football,” University of Missouri Director of Athletics Laird Veatch said in a released statement. “We are incredibly appreciative of our fans responding in this way. We have been asking a lot of our supporters, including with the price increase of our football season tickets as we look to close the resource gap with our SEC counterparts, and for season tickets to sell out even earlier than last season is a true showcase of our collective ‘Will to Win.’

Drinkwitz, entering his sixth year in Columbia, led the Tigers to double-digit wins in 2023 (11-2) and 2024 (10-3). Missouri has never reached 10 victories in three consecutive seasons, but optimism around the program has never been higher. Their schedule boasts 8 home games, including matchups with arch-rival Kansas in a renewal of the Border War (Sept. 6), Alabama (Oct. 11) and Texas A&M (Nov. 8).

The Tigers are 27-7 all-time at home under Drinkwitz. They’ve never lost a home non-conference game with him as their head coach, and have posted a 13-1 mark at Faurot Field since 2023. The lone loss in that stretch came to LSU (49-39) on Oct. 7, 2023. They’ll kick off the 2025 season versus Central Arkansas on Aug. 30.
