Missouri will be a little thinner on the defensive line for the Black & Gold spring game than when the Tigers opened practice last month.

Hours after it was reported the Tigers are down one defensive lineman to a broken arm, Mizzou coach Barry Odom revealed that DE Spencer Williams is transferring closer to his Florida home.

Williams, from Jacksonville, Fla., signed with Missouri in 2014 over Cincinnati, Auburn, Nebraska and others, redshirting that season. He appeared in only six games in 2015, but saw more action in 2016. In 12 games last year, Williams made 15 tackles (12 of them solo) and logged four quarterback hurries.
