Missouri has done well to raid the SEC since the transfer portal officially opened on Jan. 2., and the Tigers landed another high-profile commitment on Wednesday.
And the addition came via their fellow Tigers, as Mizzou secured a former Auburn wide receiver in Horatio Fields.

The Douglasville, Georgia native started his career at Wake Forest before joining Hugh Freeze’s program prior to the 2025 campaign.
The 6-foot-2, 201-pound wide receiver only saw action through Auburn’s first 4 games this past season, as he recorded just 12 catches for 106 yards and a touchdown on the year.
Fields initially made a name for himself while in Winston-Salem. After playing sparingly for the Demon Deacons in 2023, the rangy target racked up 463 yards and 4 touchdowns on 39 catches in 2024.
Eli Drinkwitz’ transfer portal class has now grown to 9 players, with Fields joining Cincinnati transfer Caleb Goodie as the two receivers who hope to bolster a receiving corps that already lost the services of Joshua Manning and Marquis Johnson.
Overall, 8 of the Tigers’ current portal commits hail from Power 4 programs or Notre Dame. Per 247Sports, Fields is one of two 4-star transfers in the group, with his future quarterback Austin Simmons (Ole Miss) being the other.
And on top of that, Fields is one of three Auburn players to be making the move to Columbia. Safety Kensley Louidor-Faustin and linebacker Robert Woodyard Jr. are also heading north.
