Mizzou will present a new athletics facilities master plan this week in Kansas City, where the Board of Curators will see the newest artist renderings of the plan.
According to a press update about the Intercollegiate Athletics Master Plan, the plan addresses possible areas of improvement for all Tiger athletics.
Among the improvements to the football complex are two new video boards in the south end zone of Faurot Field and a new indoor practice facility.
According to the St. Louis Post-Dispatch, new Mizzou AD Jim Sterk said the plan gives the Tigers a chance to put themselves among the top destinations for student-athletes:
“I think we need to be unique,” Sterk said. “That’s what I’ve challenged the architects and what the donors want to see, something that works for us and fits into our stadium that looks good and can help enhance the game day but also every day (usage).”
