The No. 22 Missouri Tigers are set for a massive Week 13 showdown against one of their traditional Big 12 rivals, the No. 8 Oklahoma Sooners, on the road in Norman, in a game that will have some pretty significant postseason implications for both sides.
Mizzou is already knocked out of any sort of playoff contention, but they can still play spoiler to Oklahoma’s playoff hopes if they can manage to knock off the Sooners on the road.

In anticipation of the high-stakes meeting in the Palace on the Prairie, the Tigers revealed which helmet they will wear when they take the field against Oklahoma later today on their official X account.
The team announced that they will be rolling with a white helmet with a gold face mask, and the iconic gold block M that has become synonymous with Mizzou football over the years.
This will be the 98th all-time meeting between the Sooner and the Tigers, with Oklahoma currently possessing a commanding 67-15-5 lead in the rivalry that dates back all the way back to 1902.
Mizzou has won 2 of the last 3 in the series, though, including a 30-23 home win last season, which was the first time since 2011 that the 2 rivals met on the gridiron. If the Tigers can secure the upset today, then they will have more than likely spoiled the Sooners’ remaining playoff hopes in the process.
