Montaric Brown has played his final game at Arkansas.

The Razorbacks beat Penn State 24-10 in the Outback Bowl on Saturday and after the game the senior cornerback announced that he would be pursuing an NFL career.

Brown could have opted for a final season in Fayetteville thanks to the NCAA’s COVID-19 eligibility rule.

Brown appeared in 11 games during the 2021 regular season for Arkansas and recorded 53 tackles, 10 pass defenses, and 5 interceptions.

He added a tackle and a pass breakup in Saturday’s win over the Nittany Lions.

The 6-foot, 190-pounder is a native of Ashdown, Arkansas.

His play in 2021 helped lead the Razorbacks to their first 9-win season since 2011.
