Myles Garrett to the Chiefs? Chase Daniel explains how it could work

Myles Garrett has officially requested a trade from the Cleveland Browns, the team that took him No. 1 overall in the 2017 NFL Draft out of Texas A&M.
Garrett is one of the most dominant pass rushers in the NFL today, and he’ll likely draw a lot of interest from the other 31 teams in the league.
Where could he end up? Do the Kansas City Chiefs have a chance to get him?
Former Mizzou QB Chase Daniel, who does a ton of great media work these days, explained on “The Scoop” this week how the Chiefs could get the job done money-wise:
“It’s probably not going to happen,” Daniel started. “But it’s so intriguing because the Chiefs ranked 18th in sacks this year, 4th in pressure percentage in the defensive front. You can probably say that’s the, other than Chris Jones, and (George) Karlaftis had 3 sacks in the (AFC) Championship Game, but other than Chris Jones, not the strength of their team defensively. You pair (Garrett) with a Chris Jones, now you’ve got to make it work money-wise, but this is sort of the Patrick Mahomes-type thing where you look at his contract. It’s a baseball contract. He’s very underpaid compared to what some of these guys are. And this is exactly what Tom Brady did toward the middle/end of his career. He took less money. I think he was getting paid other ways, but that’s another podcast. But it’s something like that where you could pair those 2 together and the Chiefs could go for 4-, 5- and 6-peat, maybe?”
That’s a scary thought for the rest of the NFL. We’ll see what happens as the Browns field offers for the former No. 1 overall pick in the coming weeks.
How would that impact the Chiefs’ Super Bowl 60 odds? Sports betting will be live in Missouri by then. Saturday Down South will have you covered when the time comes with all the top Missouri sports betting promos.
