Najee Harris injury: Steelers share update on former Alabama RB

Najee Harris was one of 2 standout Pittsburgh Steelers players to get injured in Week 1. All-world pass rusher T.J. Watt was the other.
The Steelers got bad news on the Watt front. At the very least, it sounds like he’s going to be missing significant time with a pec injury. Watt is one of the best players in the NFL and an absolute disruptor as a pass-rusher, so that’s going to be a hard pill for the Steelers to swallow, though it sounds like it could have been worse.
Speaking of, it looked like the Steelers were heading toward a worst-case scenario when Harris went down with a foot injury, but Pittsburgh may have dodged total disaster with his injury as well. In fact, it’s not even close to a bad update for the former Crimson Tide star.
Tests today on Steelers’ RB Najee Harris’ foot injury came back negative and there is a belief that, according to a source, he “should be good to go” Sunday vs. the Patriots.
