Nate Frazier, Isiah Canion’s status vs. Oklahoma updated, per report

Georgia hosts Oklahoma in a Week 4 game between the hedges, but Nate Frazier and Isiah Canion’s statuses remain in flux just a few hours before kickoff. According to On3’s Pete Nakos, both players are a “game-time decision.” For Frazier, “there is optimism” that the junior running back will be able to give it a go.
Frazier’s injury against Arkansas in Week 3 was characterized as a “ding” by Kirby Smart after the game. Canion ended up injuring his leg in that one.
Frazier is off to an OK start to the 2026 season. Through three games, he has totaled 24 carries for 202 yards and five touchdowns. Before leaving against the Razorbacks, he had taken 14 carries for 75 yards and a TD. Meanwhile, Canion, in his first season with Georgia after two years at Georgia Tech, has made three catches for 28 yards.
If Frazier isn’t able to go, that means more carries for Chauncey Bowens. The redshirt sophomore has taken 16 touches this season, but three of his carries against Arkansas went for touchdowns. He also has six carries for 90 yards and a score.
Georgia and Oklahoma kick off at Sanford Stadium at 3:30 p.m. ET. It’s just the second all-time meeting between the two programs.
