Netflix drops new trailer for Untold: The Testimony of Vince Young

Untold: The Testimony of Vince Young, a new documentary from Netflix detailing the legacy and career of former Texas Longhorns star Vince Young, is set to release on August 25. On Wednesday, Netflix released a trailer for the documentary on social media.

As you can see from the trailer, Netflix’s Untold series is going to delve into the 2006 Rose Bowl, one of the greatest college football games every played. In addition, the story will follow Young’s career after that game, from being drafted by the Tennessee Titans to his relationship with Steve McNair and the personal struggles he went through during this period of his life.
Young indicated in the trailer that he couldn’t handle the stardom that came from his performance in the Rose Bowl against USC. The Longhorns won a fantastic back-and-forth title game thanks to Young, who collected 467 yards of total offense and 3 rushing touchdowns.
Among these scores is one of the most famous plays in college football history, Young’s game-winning 4th down scramble with under 20 seconds to play.
We’re in for a good one here, folks. As mentioned, the documentary is set to release on Tuesday, August 25, just days before the start of the 2026 college football season.
