New starting RB John Kelly providing spark for Tennessee offense

Tennessee sophomore RB John Kelly had a big game on Saturday, rushing for 104 yards and a touchdown to replace injured RB Alvin Kamara and the recently transferred RB Jalen Hurd.
According to Scout.com, OL Brett Kendrick said he had fun blocking for Kelly in last week’s 55-0 win over Tennessee Tech:
“He plays the game with a lot of passion, and he likes to have a lot of fun so I guess we’re just kind of feeding off his energy,” Kendrick said. “We just had a lot of fun last week playing together, but (Kelly) has been huge for us.”
Whether or not Kelly can keep up his strong running against Kentucky this weekend will likely determine how successful the Tennessee offense can be.
