NFL.com analyst Lance Zierlein lists 14 SEC players in first round of updated 2019 NFL Mock Draft

The SEC is sure to have a big night during Round 1 of the 2019 NFL Draft next month, as many elite prospects hail from the conference.
Recently, NFL.com analyst Lance Zierlein updated his mock draft, and had an impressive 14 players from the SEC going in the first round.
As you can see below, Kentucky EDGE Josh Allen leads the way at No. 3, with injured Mississippi State DL Jeffery Simmons closing things down at No. 32:

- No. 4 — Quinnen Williams, DL, Alabama — Oakland Raiders
- No. 5 — Devin White, LB, LSU — Tampa Bay Buccaneers
- No. 6 — D.K. Metcalf, WR, Ole Miss — New York Giants
- No. 7 — Jawaan Taylor, OL, Florida — Jacksonville Jaguars
- No. 8 — Montez Sweat, EDGE, Mississippi State — Detroit Lions
- No. 15 — Greedy Williams, DB, LSU — Washington Redskins
- No. 16 — Jonah Williams, OL, Alabama — Carolina Panthers
- No. 17 — Drew Lock, QB, Mizzou — New York Giants
- No. 23 — Greg Little, OL, Ole Miss — Houston Texans
- No. 25 — Josh Jacobs, RB, Alabama — Philadelphia Eagles
- No. 29 — Deandre Baker, DB, Georgia — Kansas City Chiefs
- No. 30 — AJ Brown, WR, Ole Miss — Green Bay Packers
- No. 32 — Jeffery Simmons, DL, Mississippi State — New England Patriots
There’s still a bit of time for these to change, but with the Combine and pro days mostly over, teams are really starting to solidify their draft boards.
