Van Jefferson had one of the great nights of his life on Sunday with a Super Bowl win and the birth of a son, as his wife went into labor at SoFi Stadium and was rushed to the hospital.

Jefferson, the former Florida wide receiver, also found out the news on the field in the celebration after the game, and NFL Films and “Inside the NFL” captured the moment he learned, and then shared the news to his other kids.

“Oh my gosh,” he said, then turned to his kids. “Mommy’s going to have a baby. We’ve got to go. Mommy’s going to have your brother. We gotta get to the hospital. We gotta go quick.”

Jefferson quickly left SoFi Stadium and rushed to a hospital to meet his wife, Samaria, who was set to give birth to a son. In the game, a Rams 23-20 victory, Jefferson made 4 catches for 23 yards on 8 targets.

While she was at the stadium, Samaria left on a stretcher during the game after going into labor. Samaria had already told the Rams not to tell her husband if their second child decided to arrive during the game, the Associated Press reported.
