The Pro Football Hall of Fame was a festive place in Canton, Ohio on Saturday night as the pro football community gathered to celebrate the newest members of the Hall of Fame.

But one moment didn’t come off as the NFL wanted. At the end of the night, after Bill Cowher, the long-time Pittsburgh Steelers coach, gave his speech, the Hall of Famers in gold jackets gathered to offer well wishes to one another. But a hot mic appeared to pick up this sound: “Let’s go smoke joints in the parking lot.” It was unclear who said it, or who it was directed toward, but it’s safe to say the NFL would’t be on board with it.

The hot mic moment came at the end of a celebratory night in which the Hall of Fame honored the likes of Troy Polamalu, Steve Atwater, Cliff Harris, Edgerrin James, Isaac Bruce, Harold Carmichael, Steve Hutchinson, Jim Covert, Donnie Shell Paul Tagliabue, Cowher and Jimmy Johnson.

That group was scheduled to be inducted in 2020, but the event was postponed because of the coronavirus pandemic.

The festivities continue on Sunday featuring the likes of Peyton Manning, Charles Woodson, Calvin Johnson, Alan Faneca, John Lynch, Tom Flores, Drew Pearson and Bill Nunn.
