The No. 1 safety in the state of Alabama announced on Tuesday that he has whittled his offer list to 5, including 3 SEC programs — Auburn, Georgia and South Carolina.
The player in question, Jayden Aparicio-Bailey, is a 4-star prospect in the Class of 2027 and is also considering Ohio State and Clemson. His offer list includes other big-name programs such as Alabama, Florida, LSU, Michigan, Texas and USC, to name a few. In other words, Aparicio-Bailey could go pretty much wherever he wants.
For good reason, too. Aparicio-Bailey is considered by 247Sports to be the No. 133 overall prospect in the country as well as the No. 9 overall safety and No. 6 player out of Alabama.
Aparicio-Bailey stands at 6-2, 195 pounds and hails from Prattville, Alabama, which is located a few miles northwest of Montgomery. Before he played at Prattville high school he played at Oak Mountain HS in Birmingham.
Georgia is considered an early favorite alongside Clemson. He’s scheduled for an official visit to Clemson on May 29, followed by a visit to Athens on June 5.
