No stranger to the transfer portal, former 4-star Ole Miss WR reportedly looking to leave, again

An Ole Miss wide receiver who has been in and out of the transfer portal since he’s been with the Rebels is reportedly on his way there once again.
Grant Tisdale is a former 4-star recruit, and the news was reported by Matt Zenitz of AL.com.
In his time at Ole Miss, Tisdale was moved from quarterback to wide receiver, and former coach Matt Luke explained about a year ago a conversation he had with Tisdale. Luke told reporters at the time that, “with him being the third guy, just felt like it was time to enter the transfer portal and see what his options are and we are fully supportive of him, think he is a great young man,” Luke said. “Going to help try and find him the best place to go.”
But after Lane Kiffin was hired, Tisdale changed his tune.
Tisdale was a 4-star recruit out of Allen, Texas. He was the No. 14 dual-threat quarterback recruit in the 2019 class per the 247sports Composite rankings, as well as the No. 44 recruit from Texas.
It appears that Tisdale will look to play quarterback at another school as Ole Miss has plenty of depth at that position. The team currently has Matt Corral, John Rhys Plumlee and Kinkead Dent, and that doesn’t include freshman QB Kade Renfro entered the portal last week.
Ole Miss also has a commitment from 4-star 2021 QB Luke Altmyer, who is looked at as a possible heir apparent to Corral.
