Nolan Smith may not have enrolled early at Georgia but the nation’s No. 1 prospect in the 2019 recruiting cycle is still taking care of his business in order to make an immediate impact for the Bulldogs when he does arrive this summer.

The 6-foot-3, 227-pound defender recently shared a video of his weight room progress this spring and made sure to tag Georgia’s strength coach Scott Sinclair in both videos.

In the first video, seen below, Smith is showing off his ability to leg press 540 pounds.

Smith wasn’t done at just 540 pounds, however, as the five-star prospect then showed off his ability to press 630 pounds for good measure.

While he may not be on campus and participating in the program’s spring activities, Smith appears to be taking a serious approach to his weight training leading up to his arrival in Athens. This should be no real surprise, considering he played at IMG Academy to finish out his high school career. The main purpose of the Academy is to train athletes for college both athletically and academically which appears to have rubbed off on Smith based on the videos above.
